DCY Operating Partners was founded in 2026 by Danish Yazdani, after a 25-year career leading Operations & Engineering for manufacturing companies.

Danish has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He started his journey in the Paper industry as a process engineer for Georgia Pacific, leaving his role as Process Engineering Manager in 2008 to take on a Plant Manager opportunity at Balchem, operating in the Human & Animal Nutrition industry. He built and started up Balchem’s only greenfield site and led many efforts with mergers, acquisitions, and integrating acquired businesses. During his tenure, Balchem grew from six plants and $250M in sales to 22 sites, now bringing in over $1B.

Danish joined Vibrant Ingredients in 2022 to lead a strategy aimed at delivering increased profitability and capacity to the business through plant consolidations and expansions. He transformed operations and engineering - upgrading teams, systems, and processes to new levels.

Outside of work, Danish enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and amateur motorcycle racing.
